Work attitudes

Aren't work attitudes amazing?

Most people display a willingness to work comparable to a buffet wanting to be dragged out in front of Kirstie Alley. Until they get sick. THEN you see martyrdom at work.

Oh no, you can't keep them away from work. Suddenly their more important than anyone on the face of the planet. "If I'm not there to staple those 2 pages together, society as we know it may well end."

I especially love it when one of the page staplers come to work and infect ME. I'm not saying I'm more important than anyone else, oh no. Quite the opposite. It's just that a little thought here would go a long way.

Thought: You're sick; take time to heal.
Another thought: You're sick; maybe you won't work in an optimal fashion, and you'll staple your finger to that page.
Yet one more thought: Yes, it's time away from work, isn't that what you fight for?

Bah. Drives me nuts.

Nothing you can do about it until people start to realize that they're NOT more important than anyone else.

Now excuse me, I have to go cough on someone.

...and so it begins.

Well. I've always wanted to do one of these logs, and when you consider my desire to write, it stands to reason that one of these creatures is gonna be born.

Maybe I've got nothing to say though. That's always a possibility. Webland is full of people who blather on and fail miserably at trying to be s-m-r-t. You just can't do what you're not.

Dunno.

Maybe I do have something to say.

Let's see what happens....
